Forman Motorsport is pleased to offer for sale this fantastic 1996 Porsche 911 Carrera coupe. This example has been meticulously maintained. We have detailed service records dating back 10 years. The trim, wheels, glass, and interior are all in incredibly good condition - looking more like a 15k mile car than a 74k mile one. The paint is all original and still has a deep shine with no fading or scratches. The nose does show some wear consistent with the mileage but it is still presentable so we left it alone in the interest of originality. We have an expert Porsche painter and would be happy to provide a quote if you would like to have it repainted. It drives perfectly, feeling nice and tight with no squeaks, rattles, or vibrations. The car tracks straight, stops as it should, and the engine is smooth, healthy, and strong. This 993 Coupe wears a great color combo, has just been serviced and needs nothing but a new owner to enjoy piloting it down winding roads.

The 993 version of the Porsche 911 Carrera is the last of the air-cooled engines in the 911. For the 1996 model year Porsche introduced a revised 3.6 liter engine that used the “Vario-Ram” air induction system. This improvement flattened the torqur curve and increased the engine’s power output to 282hp - 12hp more than the 1995 model year. These last iterations are already thought of as classics and also considered to be the pinnacle of the 911’s Design. Since the 911 made its debut decades ago, it has always been the preferred car among driving enthusiasts and automotive journalists alike, due to its superb blend of power and handling. Despite being a high-powered sports car capable of speeds in excess of 175 miles-per-hour, the 911 can also be driven on a daily basis with the amenities of a luxury car one of the best reliability records anywhere. Outside, it has one of the most recognized shapes in the automotive world. Inside, occupants are surrounded by fine cowhide and trim in a luxurious sports car capable of three times the legal speed limit.
