Just arrived at RUF Auto Centre is this phenominal 1989 Ferrari Mondial T Cabriolet.
With the introduction of the Mondial, Ferrari finally gave the opportunity for families to enjoy the car together. 4 seats, open top, and the beautiful music produced by the 3.4 Liter V8; what could be better!
This Mondial T Cab is equipped with a 300HP 3.4 Liter V8 and a 5 speed manual transmission. This Mondial also features some new options for Ferrari: Power Steering and an Adjustable Suspension. Both of which make this Ferrari that much more fun to drive!
Standard features include:
- Air conditioning
- Manual folding soft top
- Electric release front bonnet, rear bonnet, and engine lid
- Adjustable Steering Column
- 5 speed Manual Transmission
This Mondial is in excellent condition both inside and out. To give an example of how meticulous the previous owner was; a typed / handwritten log was kept every time the car was driven noting the route taken and miles driven.
Within the past few months this Mondial has undergone a complete mechanical inspection and every serviceable item was checked. A complete 30K service was performed including the change of the cam belts. A new clutch was installed using an updated 355 sytle clutch and flywheel. The previous owner basically left an open check to the Ferrari technician and said, "Do whatever it needs to be 100%". The final bill came to over $15K !!
That leaves the new owner of this Mondial T Cab with a meticulously maintained car that is ready for Open Top weather and years of driving without worry of needing that expensive belt service.
Cosmetically this Mondial is in as good of shape as it is mechanically. The only flaw we could find on the car is a minor rub mark on the right front corner of the bumper that is barely visible and a few stone chips in the bumper, and I do mean a "few".
