Only 1616  1960 356 Cabriolets were ever built. This rare example was originally delivered in California "BLACK PLATE CAR" and has been here its entire life. Born 742 Royal Blue the car was resprayed several years back in silver. The body is in excellent condition and does not show any sign of repairs due to either to damage or rust. The gaps are even and symmetrical. Underneath shows completely original floors with factory welds and absolutely zero sign of rust. The only repair to the undercarriage is a small patch under the battery box. The chrome and stainless trim are all in excellent condition and are original to the car. The interior was refreshed several years back with the correct carpet and seat skins and is in superb condition. The matching number engine and drive train were also restored and perform without a flaw. The original tool kit, jack and spare all come with the car. This automobile is truly an A list collectable and weather it is enjoyed as it is or brought back to its original color the value surely will increase.
