RUF Auto Centre is pleased to present this beautiful 2001 Lamborghini Diablo that has been fully updated to Diablo GT specs.
The original owner of this Diablo, Alex Shen of SP Engineering, built this car to accomplish his goal of having a Diablo GT that is able to be legally driven in the USA. The factory built Diablo GT's are NOT legal to drive on public roads in the USA.
Alex purchased a brand new Diablo and then began to meticulously update the car both cosmetically and mechanically to GT specs.
All of the GT panels, GT Seats, and GT Steering Wheel are OEM parts that were ordered directly from Lamborghini Orange County ! The wing is slightly different from the GT; the GT uses the SV wing and to set this car one step apart SP Engineering used the slightly more aggressive SVR wing from Lamborghini.
The exhaust is a $20K system using Kreissig stainless exhaust and MS Racing rear pipes. The exhaust system also has an electric bypass system to bypass the catalytics ( not to be used on the street ).
There is a 100hp shot wet nitrous system in the front bonnet that has been dyno tuned to the car. System has been used only a few times by SP Engineering and never by the current owner.
This Diablo is literally flawless; not even a scratch under the chin spoiler.
