eBay is changing fees… again.

eBay has just announced another fee change that will affect many of our successful dealers currently marketing on eBay Motors.

The change could be positive depending on how you sell/market on eBay due to the drop in a “final value” fee.  Regardless, our internal statistics show that pound for pound, eBay is still the best lead provider by dollar spent out of the big three (Cars.com, Auto Trader, & eBay).

Here’s a chart on the fee changes:

The first section is for the first 4 listings in a year (this has not changed from last year).  The changes are from the 5th listing and up.  It currently costs $20 insertion and $100 final value.  We are removing the Final Value Fee (Transaction Service Fee) and making that Zero.
